What did you promise to change on March 16?
"What matters to me?" This is the question the Clinical Redesign Patient and Staff Engagement Working Group sought to answer when interviewing patients at the Royal Hobart Hospital.
A total of 578 pledges were made this year across the State as part of Change Day Australia – an international social movement aimed at improving health outcomes. Up from only 25 pledges last year, enthusiasm for the movement grew this year in hospitals across all regions, the Department of Health and Human Services and within Community Health Services.
With only 10 days to go until Change Day on the 16th March, we are continuing to build momentum and increase the number of pledges across the state.
Over 180 self-selecting change radicals came together recently in Hobart and Devonport for the inaugural School for Health and Care Radicals Tasmanian workshops. Facilitator Mary Freer inspired participants to go back to their workplaces and bring about positive change.
